Each Year, the Science Foundation Ireland awards schools for their commitment to excellence in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.
In 2018/19, the children engaged in a series of scientific experiments and projects that demonstrated skills in scientific investigation and use of maths skills. We also invited visitors to the school to teach us about various aspects of STEM.
We also participated in the RDS Science Blast Exhibition in Limerick, exhibiting our investigation into the effects of texting and driving, receiving high praise from the judges.
In June 2019, we were awarded the schools first award for Science and Maths Excellence. Click on the link to read more about the Award.
